The quality of your prompt can significantly impact the quality of the chatbot’s response. I have watched tons of videos related to AI. This article summarizes what I learned so far about Prompt Engineering.

Here are some best practices for prompt engineering that can help you get the most out of the agile advisor chatbot:

1. Be Specific: The more details you provide in your prompt, the better the chatbot can understand your request. For instance, instead of asking “What is Agile?”, ask “What are the key principles of Agile methodology?” Clear (and correctly spelled) prompts help ensure you get the best response. 
2. State Your Intent: If there’s a specific purpose for your question, include it in the prompt. For example, “I’m preparing for a Scrum Master interview. Can you explain the role of a Scrum Master in an Agile team?” 
3. Direct the Output Format: If you want the answer in a specific format, state it in your question. For example, “Could you list the steps for conducting an effective Sprint Retrospective?” 
4. Ask Follow-Up Questions: If the response wasn’t what you expected or if you need more information, feel free to ask follow-up questions. 
5. Experiment with Different Phrasings: If you’re not getting your desired response, try asking the question differently. The chatbot might understand one phrasing better than another.

But all the above can be hard to remember. This guy crafted a formula for a “perfect prompt” to make it easier: 

Perfect Prompt = [Context] + [Specific Information] + [Intent/Goal] + [Response Format (if needed)] 

For example, if you’re an Agile coach looking for advice on handling team conflicts, your prompt might look like this: 

“I’m an Agile coach dealing with a conflict between two team members. Can you provide strategies for resolving this conflict? Please present the information as a step-by-step guide.”
